1940’s Sailor!Klaine
Woo!
“Daddy, who’s this picture of?”
It was old and faded, stuffed in a trunk and unseen for years but Blaine’s heart still thudded painfully in his chest as he ran a thumb down the blemished surface.
It was torn in half, ripping his face in two but there was still enough of that smile, the hint of a sparkle in his eyes to raise a lump in the back of Blaine’s throat.
“Who is he?”
Sometimes Blaine when his son’s eyes caught the light he was struck with a certain familiarity. A shade of grey he thought he would never see again.
But that was impossible.
“Do you want to hear a story,” Blaine began, fighting the burn behind his eyes, “Of the best man I ever knew?”
